Have you ever seen?... Jazz.

I've never seen it before but I've heard of an Japanese animated movie called "The Sky Crawlers" that's supposed to be really good (the music sure is). Have you ever seen it? Because I need to ask you a favor :)

Oh, and those auditions? I placed 3rd out of all the people who played my instrument (pretty good considering I effed up my audition piece). This means I made it in. Yey jazz =)

The Space and Trees are what I love the most. There isn't a single any-one-of-those-things that I don't find remarkably lovely.

I like car rides. (Wow, I sound like a dog). I just like the feel of the turning wheels beneath me and sound of the tires rolling on the road.

I also like to go for walks early in the morning when the temperature is just right, so that I can watch the sky waking up (Now I really sound like a dog). But honestly, the morning is the best time to watch the atmosphere- it morphs so beautifully given the time frame. But I don’t get out early enough most days- I need up to eleven hours of sleep and I can’t sleep when light is out (and unfortunately I have a life that the community does not revolve around), so I miss one of my favorite parts of the day.

Come to think of it, I tend to miss a lot of things.

I guess I could say I’m musically talented. I love lower sounding instruments, I myself play the saxophone (which ranges between extremely high and extremely low… I play the lower ones like the bari-sax) and I would love to learn how to play the cello. Maybe someday I’ll try it out when I can afford it.

Drawing and writing are also passions of mine. Though I must say I don’t believe I am fabulously talented in these things... I’m on the fence between sucking and not-that-bad. I’d really like to get into painting, but that will have to wait until warmer weather. (I wouldn’t be able to stand the fumes). Hopefully painting won’t be one of those things that I can’t do to save my life.

Writing down famous quotes (and my friends’ quotes too) is a fun past time every now and then. I think that the reason why people like quotes so much is because they don’t ever realize the amazing things they say themselves. I believe that if people started quoting themselves for a change, they would see just are great they are.

I also used to collect drink labels and bottle caps. And way before that, I collected rocks. I probably still have that ten pound box of rocks somewhere. I know, I’m weird.

I tend to get a plethora of epiphanies, but only snippets- it’s really frustrating. And most of the time, I forget them. So that really gets me peeved.

Secretly, I really wish that my work will mean something someday. (Well, I guess it’s not much of a secret now). I mean, some days, I just don’t care. About anything. But there are also those days where I want to be better than anybody else, instead of being that other, somebody else. I guess I’m just human that way.

Pretty good actually. Some people are here putting in new doors in my house and I had to wake up early to move furniture. Nothing beats moving couches all by myself when I just woke up :) I love being up early and all, but I hate waking up for it.
